What MiTow is

MiTow is a platform that connects people who need a tow or roadside help with independent towing partners. MiTow takes the booking and the payment; the towing partner performs the service.

Your account

• You must be 18 or older and give a mobile number you control.
• Keep your phone and sign-in codes secure. You are responsible for activity on your account.
• You can delete your account at any time from the app or as described at mitow.in/delete-account.

For customers

• Give accurate pickup and drop locations and vehicle details. Fares and arrival times shown before you book are estimates; the final fare can change with waiting time, extra distance or services added during the trip, and the app shows any change before you pay.
• Far pickups may need to be paid upfront before a partner sets off.
• Cancelling after a partner has been assigned may carry a cancellation fee, which the app shows before you confirm. Refunds of fees go to your MiTow wallet; refunds of trip payments go back to the original payment method.
• Be present at the pickup, or arrange for someone to hand over the vehicle, and remove valuables before the tow.

For towing partners

• You work as an independent towing partner, not as an employee of MiTow. Whether to go online and which jobs to accept is your choice.
• You must hold, and keep current, a valid driving licence, vehicle registration, insurance and any permits towing requires, and you must follow traffic and towing laws.
• Once you accept a job, complete it safely and with care for the customer’s vehicle.
• MiTow charges a commission on each completed job; the rest is paid to your bank account. Cash collected from customers is settled against your earnings, and unsettled cash above the limit shown in the app pauses cash jobs until it is paid.
• We can suspend an account for unsafe conduct, fraud, expired documents or repeated complaints.

Payments

Online payments are processed by Razorpay. Prices are in Indian rupees and include applicable taxes unless shown otherwise. You will receive a receipt for every paid trip.

Acceptable use

• Do not misuse the app, give false information, harass anyone, or try to book or pay outside the app to avoid fees.
• Do not attempt to access other people’s accounts or interfere with the service.

Liability

MiTow arranges the booking and is responsible for its own platform. The towing partner is responsible for the towing service and for damage caused while performing it. To the extent the law allows, MiTow is not liable for indirect losses. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

Disputes and governing law

Raise a problem with a trip from the app’s Help & Support or by emailing support@mitow.in. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Sangareddy, Telangana have jurisdiction.

Changes

We will tell you in the app before material changes to these terms take effect.
